I will write tomorrow. We have had alot happen in two weeks . Sorry I have just been very busy with work, Mick , and life. All my free time I spend with my little angel. We are just so in love with the little Irish Tiger.
He is doing great!
I took him to the card. on Friday@4. I have been worried about micks activity level and sleeping pattern. I have been tracking over the past three weeks. He has PT, OT ,Respit, and special instructor coming every day( one of the 4 come every day not all at once). I am home for most of the half hour sessions ( they come at 8am) but the ones I can't,Our Nanny nurse Kristen, has covered for me. I have been concerned with micks behavior after the activity.I had Kristen help me track mick since I leave right after. She reported mick was sleeping much more after and felt it may be a strain on Mick.
The PT specialist agreed and recommended that I take mick to dr. K.
I did so and the dr. said not to worry Mick is doing great, treat him like a regular baby. His heart looks wonderful!! Just what you would hope!
He did say that the slight narrowing may be the cause of micks swollen eyes. He is not concerned in the least bit and assured me that he is in excellent condition. His next visit is not set until six weeks.
I am sending the echo to Boston to get a second opinion, just to be sure. Much more has happened that sends me in this direction. I will write more tomorrow must get to sleep. I am bringing Caitlin to one of my GI Doctor's office first thing in the A.M. she has to get her gal bladder out. She has to have the surgery as soon as possible. It is fortunate one of my favorite offices takes her insurance. They are going to take a sonogram and refer her to a surgeon.
Love to all

Nannie bought me this beautiful blanket home from England. Auntie Barbara added her special touch with the gorgeous white trim. It keeps me nice and warm in the cold NYC air.
Mick is going great! Friday he has a dr. apt just to check up.
Yesterday would have been my grandparents 67th anniversary.
They share my favorite love story. My grandparents had a deep love and appreciation for one another. Nothing brought them more joy then their seven children, 24 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren( including Mick and Cole).
My grandparents worked until they were 79, after they retired at the age of 60 they decided they wanted to stay busy and took jobs as bridge keepers. Every day they would head down to the bridge house and weave to the boats passing them bye. They would both go even though only one would be paid at a time. They always wanted to be together. Grammie and Grandpa would call each other Ma and Pa, and never could say I Love you enough. It was true love until the end.
My grammie was the sweetest women in the whole world, and my grandpa was a true romantic.
My grammie had cancer and refused to go to the hospital for treatment. They arranged hospis care and set up a hospital bed. The bed did not fit into the bedroom so every night my grandfather would sleep on the couch so he could hold my grammies hand. Two months into my grammies illness she feel into a coma. My two aunts who are nurses went to Florida to help Nancy take care of Grammie and grandpa. My Aunts every night would ask God to take Grammie in peace. Grandpa was not sleeping and would not leave her side for one minute. As my Aunts were praying for God to take grammie my Grandpa was praying for one more day with his love. More importantly one more anniversary. There 60th anniversary was only three days away. My aunts and Grandpa at grammies bed side, were schocked she came out of the coma the morning of their 60th wedding anniversary.
She said Patty, Joannie, Nancy what are you doing here go home to your family, I have my Love to take care of me, and held Gramdpa's hand. My Grammie never wanted to have people go out of their way for her. She was just the sweetest woman.
Everyone stood around her in disbelief, but my grandfather knew that she would come back to him for a least one day to say their good byes. That is just what my grammie was able to do. Her mind was in tack and my grandparents were able to spend an entire day together. They looked at photos of their wedding, family and friends. They had plenty of laughs, hugs and kisses. It was a perfect gift for their 60th wedding anniversary.
My Grammie slipped back into her coma the next morning and passed away a few days later.
Their story is my favorite, I tear up every time I tell people. It was a miracle for them to have their 60th anniversary together. I felt so hornered to be apart of their life and witness their true love story.
It was very fitting for Obama to have won on their anniversary. Grammie and grandpa would be so proud we brought Mick to vote.
Sorry so quick have to leave for work. Mick is doing great! We had the best Halloween I will post more pics and video later. We trick o treated with Mick's best friend Asher, his mom Carrie ,his dad Dan, Tommy and Auntie Caitlin.
My parents came in for the weekend to help out and to celebrate Grandpa's BIG 60!!!!!!!! They were a huge help as always. What a wonderful weekend we all had together see pics. I will post more later.
Love to all HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA
It was great to be with grandpa to celebrate his BDAY
This is a song that my Grammy sang to my Dad every night before he would go to bed. We sing it to Michael, ( I should say try to...we were making up the words after I love you Truly, now we have the lyrics so we can get past the first verse.) I Love You Truly
I love you truly, truly dear, life with it's sorrow, life with it's tear, fades into dreams when I feel you are near, for I love you truly, truly dear!
< instrumental break >
A love 'tis something, to feel your kind hand, Ah yes, 'tis something, by your side to stand, gone is the sorrow, gone doubt and fear, for you love me truly, truly dear!
