We had a wonderful celebration! Thanks to all of the love, thoughts and prayers before Michael's surgery on Wednesday morning.
We will keep you posted, but for now enjoy the pictures of a celebration that included a puppeteer, New York firefighters, hula dancers, Stacey's face painting and balloon animals, Santa Claus, and Michael's favorite jam partner, Aaron Short.

You'll be in our thoughts and many prayers. Be brave Thomas & Meg. Love to you all Auntie Barbara & Auntie (Uncle) Bill (an in joke between Michael and 'Auntie' Bill) & everyone in the UKxxx
We hope you feel the love and prayers coming your way. You are so dear to all of us. Thank you for your blog which keeps us wrapped around your lives. We are with you. Love and God bless, Jim and Joan
Sorry we missed a wonderful party! Love all the pictures. Michael is in all our thoughts and prayers as are all of you. Please call if you need help with Molly and Tommy. I am in NY.
Michael is so lucky to have such wonderful and assertive parents! There will be ups and downs during his recovery period but we're confident he will do just great. Loveloveloved the video of Michael rocking out! You can tell his parents had their first date at a Bruce Springstein concert! Michael is in our thoughts always. We're rooting for him. Keep up the good work! Love, Carol & Tommy
