Well, the good news is that Michael is in great spirits. He and his mom were heading outside for a quick dose of fresh air and Michael was excited, singing "Go, go, go!"
They are now just waiting for the CRP test results which will reveal whether the IV Kawasaki treatment has worked and the inflammation has gone down. As long as it was successful, they will monitor Michael overnight to make sure his fever does not return and then release him tomorrow.
He is such a trooper and Megan and Thomas have been, once again, remarkable in their ability to comfort, care, and advocate for their precious little guy. They appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers, support and love.
We'll keep you posted on the test results...and on Michael's first outdoor venture in quite a few days.

Tasting the sunshine will make such a difference. We hope to hear more good news shortly. Michael is such a great little boy...he certainly brings the sunshine into our lives.

Team Mick is thinking of you in Washington. Michael, I hope you feel better and enjoy the sunshine. I can't wait to see you (and spoil you) soon!
Lots of love,
Auntie Sarah xox
As a fellow member of the Washington, DC chapter of Team Mick, I also hope you feel better and return home soon. I'm looking forward to raising the roof with my little pal.
Great news long may it continue - even the sun is shining in Lancashire today (and we haven't seen that in a while!) It would have been Uncle Mick's (Sheehan's)Birthday yesterday perhaps he and many others are looking out for you. Keep on improving Michael -you we're born to the breed - look forward to seeing you fit and well in June. All our love & prayers go with you. Auntie Barbara & Uncle Bill and all in the UKxxx
We can't wait to hear that you are all on your way home. That will be great news. Wish we could give all of you a week of sleeping and resting. Meanwhile we'll pray for strength and stamina for all of you. Once Michael is feeling better you will need it!
Love and hugs,
Ellie and Jeff
Hope he enjoys the nice weather =)
Once again Miracle Michael shows us all the fighting spirit that defines his amazing character. We send our love and prayers to all of you. You are special to all of us who love you.
Love and God bless,
Jim and Joan
