Glory Days!!!

YES.... I AM A ROCK STAR!!!!!

Yesterday Mick had a dermatologist appointment. Michael was intabated three times, this restricted him from any movement, as a result a pressure boil developed on the back of his head. When we left the hospital it was pretty big. Now it has decreased in size and is completely drained. We were told to not to put anything on it,not to get it wet, and to keep a close eye on it. At the appointment the Dr. was encouraged by it's healing, and gave us the go ahead on cleaning it, which is a good thing because it is looking pretty gross.

Mick is such a rock star. Never have we been to a doctor's appointment, and after the Dr. was done with evaluating him, the dermatologist stayed an extra fifteen minutes just to hear more about Mick. The Doctor then proceeded to call other Dr.'s in to meet our Miracle and hear his story. All of the Doctor's could not get over how well he looks for all that he has been through. It was another first, to have dr spend an extra fifteen minutes just to be apart of Mick's story. He requested a follow up to check on his head and of course get a progress report. Mick was wonderful as always, and enjoyed the swanky NYC Dr.'s office you can see in pic. it looks like an up scale hotel lobby.

In sprit of forth of July Weekend Mick and I have been Jamming out to Bruce and the E street Band. I am trying to up load Glory Days for all of you to enjoy, but am having difficulty as soon as Caitlin calls me back we will have good tunes for you to ROCK on the rest of your work day!

For those who don't know Bruce and E street band played a big role in bringing Tommy and me together. One of My Greatest Cousins,Brian worked with Clarence Clemons
(The saxophone player) I was able to tour around Europe and the States, I was a true groupie! Thanks to Bry he made it all happen! The last concert for Rock the Vote tour was in DC, I called Tommy to see if he wanted to go, (we were friends from my college days and stayed in touch when I moved to Boston). It was his first concert, we had the best time, it was fate!! Hopefully you will be able to hear the music soon!!

The Irwin's are on their way To NYC to "Meet The Mickster" Tommy came up with that one and thinks that is what he wants to be called...hahha it fits. We can't wait to see them!!!

Love to all :)

He has a little gas

Meg,Thomas & little 'mickster' I've been really bombed out at work so haven't blogged since Sunday -until someone at work said Michael had been to the Doctors. Then I had a dreadful pang of guilt and I knew it was the first thing I had to do when I got home. Well, I'm glad it was just a check up and he's absolutely gorgeous and the pictures are so lovely. I'm really jealous of my sister,Granny Monie, Grandad Tom Aisling and all, going over this weekend! I really wish I was there, (but one of these days- there'll be a mad 'great' Aunt turning up on your door step). In the meantime have a great 4th of July (is that like 5th of November with Sunshine?) We're off to a wedding in the Lakes (so its bound to rain!) Love and sunshine to you all. From rainy England.Auntie Barbara, Uncle Bill et all!

Wonderful news and good looking pictures. The Mickster is look'n good, he's one cool customer.

One bit of advice, better teach the Mickster to follow the SOX, as Bruce would say "the Glory Days will pass you by" and that what has happened to those aging YANKEES

Love Bill, Rose,Bry, and Kristin

PS, Rose and I spent the first 4th we can ever remember, alone on Craigville Beach

Miss you
