GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So sorry leave you hanging for a few days I have been trying to catch up on must needed rest. I have been running on adrenalin for the past three weeks and I hit empty.
real quick up date:
Auntie Sarah stayed until Monday. She was a tremendous help! Auntie Sarah helped with Dr. Apt. with pediatrician Dr. Ogden. He was very happy to see MICK. Mick was great and was pleased not to have been poked too much.
Mick loved his time with Auntie Sarah, we certainly took advantage of her being here. I was able to sleep and Tommy was able to catch up with work.
My dad came in Monday night and is here for the week( thank GOODNESS!!) what a difference having back to back help! I am doing my best to catch up, still aways to go.
Monday night Auntie Caitlin came over for dinner we love having her so close by!
Mick and Grandpa Stayed up to watch the RED SOX WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO SOX!!!!!!!! Mick was wrapped in his lucky Red Sox blanket Auntie Patsy Made!!! We got it just in time for the BIG GAME!!!
I fell asleep ( you know I am too exhausted if I miss the RED SOX play off)!
right now I am trying to catch you all up, and asking for my dad for help.... but we both spent the whole day thinking it was Tuesday... like my dad says it feels like a time warp all days are blending..... I think we are both loosing it hahahahahahha.
So Tues. we played with Mick all day he is so happy to be home! Tues. night Auntie Caitlin came over for dinner then we watched the debate, ( I feel asleep)
Last night I was worried about the swelling of Michael's head and his wheezing.
I brought Mick back to Columbia Hospital today to have an X-RAy and to be evaluated.
We met with the surgeon's assistant they found two things. One Mick still had fluid in the lungs and must be watched closely. They also found Mick has a viral infection.
Both they are not too concerned with they just want a close eye on him.
They also noticed the head swelling but are not worried yet, they say this is post Glenn.... but we are going back Friday at 8 a.m for more test.
I suck on my two fingers like my Aunt Jo did.
They were happy with how Mick is eating and his temperament( he is a much happier baby)! Over all they were pleased with Mick's progress compared how he was he has come along way. They just want a very close eye on him.
Mick is so happy to be home! Grandpa and Mick are having a blast!! But we miss Nana very much and wish she could be here. Grandpa and Mick spend all day playing and end every day falling asleep on the couch! They are Frick and Frack.
Thank you so much for the continue love and support.
Love to all
I hope to write more soon

Poor Tommy - surrounded by Red Sox fans! Must say, Mick looks just too cute wrapped up in that blanket! Tommy should sneak in a Yankee pillow or something! I know Mick and Grandpa will have a fun week together. You and Tommy need to take advantage of this time and get lots of needed rest. You are amazing Megan and I love you - Nancy
so glad Mick watched the sox! i was hoping he did but knew he needed his sleep. I'm glad he is getting some quality time with grandpa. Meg, get some sleep and enjoy the time together with your family. you guys have been through so much but yet always seem upbeat, which is exactly why Mick is doing so well. i'll keep praying. hope the viral infection and the swelling goes away. love you guys, Corey

We were so happy to find an update on the blog today! And Michael looks so good! You are doing an amazing job. As much as we love the updates, it shouldn't take time away from your cuddling and playing time (and maybe a little sleeping time). Grandpa certainly knows how to make a baby comfortable. What a lucky little boy he is to have so many people who love him.
Sending prayers and good thoughts to all of you.
Love and hugs,
Ellie and Jeff

It's wonderful to hear everything is starting to get back to normal. Meg, its so great to hear you are trying to catch up on much needed rest. Michael is in great hands between grandpa and auntie Caitlin. You guys are doing an outstanding job at keeping the little guy safe and comfortable. Love to all,

Go Red Sox!!!!
Loved to see Michael on the Sox blanket. He looks so comfortable.
Before anyone feels sorry for Tommy and his Yankees, I did not forget his team that did not make the playoffs. The reverse side if the Yankees and the sides are entwined with both team tied together.
Michael looks fantastic. I am so glad your dad is there for the week. I hope to get to New York some weekend this fall. Maybe in a few weeks. I would love to see you.
As always my prayers are devoted to Michaels recovery and hope that the bumps in the road will be behind you real soon. Love to all.
Patsy
