Well, Michael had a little set back. He was again up all night, with nothing able to knock him out. After a chest x-ray, they discovered that Michael had a puncture in his lung from his Glenn surgery. As a result, air build up in his right lung. The doctor's were able to alleviate the air pressure with immediate minor surgery. This helps to explain his marathon wake-a-thon and seems to have brought him a little comfort.
While everyone continues to monitor the Glenn for any narrowing and keeping a super close eye on his lungs, Michael and his parents are carrying on like champs. Thank goodness his Nannie has been here - saving the day and comforting her pudding late into the evening (and early into the morning).
Thanks for your prayers and thoughts. May Michael get some comfort (and sleep) soon.
