Doing Well.

Michael is doing well.

He's on the CPAC (the nose tubes) to help alleviate any unnecessary stress on his lungs. His heart function is good and the doctors are confident they can drain all of the liquid from his lungs.

They have also reduced Mick's level of morphine, a good sign that he's recovering.

Meg's been with him all day and said that he is resting peacefully and seems unfazed by this most recent event. I'm quite certain he'll be startled by very little after this run.

We marvel at the strength, poise, and love that embody Megan, Tom, and Michael.

Megan and Tommy,

Michael James is amazing because you are. Thank you for that peaceful image of him sleeping. It helps our worrying spirits.

Thank you for remembering Nana's birthday. We all had an emotional day missing her and Papa.

Love you,

Well you have quickly jumped into the parenting roll of feeling everything your child feels and worse. Hold on to the thought of calm which you will have in no time, at least I pray it will be sooner then later.
We might not be there in person, but we are with you all the time. When you feel the weight on your shoulder, it is just all us relatives there with you.
We love you tons!!!!

Dear Michael, Your great grandmother Connolly use to sing this lullaby. It is called I Love You Truly
The words go like this:
I love you truly
Truly dear;
Life with its sorrow,
Life with its fear.
Fades into dreams
When I know you are near.
For I love you truly,
Truly dear....
Your mother and father have very good voices. You definitely do not want grandpa Connolly singing to you.
Love you Michael
