Handling it all well.

Well, little Mick is doing well.

The medical team has kept him on the CPAC to give him a break and help bring up and maintain his saturation levels (the amount of oxygen in his blood). The latest x-ray showed that his right lung is clear of any fluid and they'll continue to monitor this.

He is now on the lowest amount of morphine possible (in an attempt to avoid baby detox) and is handling it great. His threshold of pain must be amazing.

Father Don came by and gave Michael a blessing. He continues to guide and comfort the family, and is of course, so impressed by our little Mick.

Dear Megan, Tom and Michael,
Kayleen has been keeping me updated. Sorry that it has been so difficult for Michael and all of you. I just spoke with Sean and Ed and they said he's doing much better and is one strong trooper.

Michael and all of you have been in my prayers and I will continue to keep you there.

Love,
Karen Devine
