Getting Ready to Go Home!

Things keep getting better as Mick gets ready to head home!

Mircale Michael once again defeats all odds as he heads home without a feeding tube. The nurse remarked that she couldn't remember the last time a baby like Mick was sent home without one. This joyous occurance is all because Michael is a chow hound. He's been eating all of his meals and exceeding expectations.

The medical team is saying Michael is ready to go home but because of the studies he's enrolled in they scheduled his departure for tomorrow. They also want to monitor his breating for another night.



Meg spent the whole day and night with Michael as she read books, sang and played with him, and laughed. She can't get over his cute smile. When Tommy got to the hospital, he was ready for another feeding and his dad got to see him take his whole bottle. This is along way from 30 cc's for the entire day to 80cc's per feeding! Again Michael and his dad had their staring time. Meg and Tom stayed with Mick until he was in a deep sleep and wished him a good night.
