We got a new update and in the heavyweight division of the NICU is Michael James weighing in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces. We also learned that what I've been referring to as a CPAC is actually called a CPAP(continuous positive airway pressure machine).
Michael has become quite accustomed to the comfort of his parents. Mick wakes up as soon as his parents enter the nursery since at this stage of development, he identifies his parents by scents and shadows. Pretty darn amazing.
Here are some more pictures of little Mick in his glory today.

Hi, Our prayers are being answered. He looks great. Simon Lichtiger
It is great to see these pictures of Michael and I love the ones where he has his fist raised as if to say "No Surrender, I will never give in!!"
Monica and I cannot wait to for him to get home so that we and all of both families have a chance to see him. Caitlin may have to set up an appointment section of the blog.

Not only can Michael recognize Mom and Dad from scents and shadows, but also from the love that he feels every time they are with him. Keep up the good work! Miracles happen every day, and Michael is living proof.
