Mick's swelling is lessening but needs to do so even more. Depending on how quickly it goes down, they will stitch his chest on either Friday or Tuesday (because of the long weekend). This will be his last "operating" hurdle for a little while. We are really hoping he'll be ready by tomorrow, since the less time his chest is open the better, so keep all the good thoughts and prayers coming.
Megan and Thomas will be heading home to sleep tonight. While the family lounge continues to be 'home base,' the comfort of their own bed will be a welcome retreat. This is not only a good idea, it's also indicative of Michael's improving condition, and we couldn't be happier.

Meg and Tommy, you by far deserve some much needed rest. Caitlin and Sarah you two need/deserve some as well, I'm sure. It is wonderful to hear that he is doing so well you can return to your beds for a good night's sleep. This is very optimistic and wonderful. I am still sending my prayers your way.
