We went in to see him and he is just the most adorable baby ever. There are many things being measured and controlled and he's doing well in most arenas. He has been peeing, his swelling went down, and his oxygen levels are good. They will still keep a close eye on him, and his blood pressure, throughout the night.
The entire NICU staff was happy to see Michael return and they are pleased with all of his levels. They know he is a fighter.
We are so grateful to be with him tonight.

PS - About 6 hours ago, nurses took pity on Team Mick and gave us some clean clothes (hospital style). We were not prepared for overnight stays.

Oh to see your smiling faces has made my day. I am assuming you are all getting much needed sleep and Michael continues to be stable and stong. What a difference a day and millons of prayers makes. I think constantly about all the love and support and prayer this little guy has. We are all so lucky to have Michael come into OUR lives and bond us in a forever way as the friends and family and family of friends of "little Mick" forever. I love you all.

We are so grateful for all the miracles God has given us. Baby Michael is hanging in there to show us what love and faith can mean in our lives. Let us all remember what is really important and precious in life... Michael has taught us so much in his first week. Happy one week birthday Michael James.
