"Hello everyone. I'm doing great!"

Well, we just can't get over how great Michael's doing.

Megan was in first thing this morning to hold little Mick. What a gift for both of them! At nearly 2 weeks old, Michael learned the comfort of a parent's arms. And for the first time he sat up (or was held up) and took stock in the world. This awe lasted all day.

Michael moved to a crib! Meg changed his diaper, fed him, and just enjoyed the day with her lucky charm.

I have been checking the blog all day in the UK, waiting for these pictures and I know everyone else over the world has as well. This is your day Meg and Thomas. Let the healing begin and the next picture I want to see is little Mick in your apartment.
I look forward to getting home to see you all.

He is just so beautifull!! I am so very happy for all of you. What an incredible baby - he had to fight so hard to get where he's at and in these pictures, he looks like he's just wondering what you were all worried about!

He is so cute! Megan, I know you must just be warm all over getting to hold and feed your adorable babe. I can't stop checking in on you guys. You really are amazing and inspirational! You have shown us all how to look at life, love and family in a positive way. Hopefully, we'll get to meet Michael sometime soon (and you too Tommy!). We're moving back to Boston ASAP. Hugs and kisses for that little one.

Great to hear about what a good day you are all having!

Such a thinker! He's all, "I don't know, mom, later today I have some sleeping to do, but I think i can squeeze in some time with my binky. No, no, don't move that bib, it's my custom sleep number."

Love the new pics!

Little Michael, I’m so glad that you’re doing so well. Since I left my residence in the family lounge, I’ve done pretty much nothing but think of you...and I can’t wait to see you again. I’m watching and reveling in every progression you make. You’re the strongest little Irishman I know.

Meg and Thomas, I’m so proud of how you’re rising to this occasion. Michael is so aware of your constant care and consideration – and he’s so lucky to have you both. I’m so glad you get to now enjoy holding him. I can only imagine how Baby Michael loves it too.

As just a little part of the Team Mick effort, I’ll never forget the life lessons that Little Mick taught me – and continues to teach me – in just a few weeks. I’ve never witnessed innocence, perseverance, and appreciation for life so profoundly. I think all of us – near and far – will be forever changed for the better.

Keep on fighting, Little One…

Lots of Love, Auntie Sarah
