God Bless Michael

As we prepare for tomorrow, we reflect on all of the love and support that surrounds us.

In just a few short days, this little baby has taught us what it means to be brave and strong, easy-going and determined, and full of love and humor. Michael reminds us of what is truly important in life and gives us an unparalleled perspective. And he is just so darn cute in doing so.

By his side, engulfed in this new, previously undiscovered love and faith, are his parents. Thomas and Meg are so remarkable in their ability to comfort and care for Michael, and each other. We are in awe of their courage and strength and are inspired by their faith: in God, in greater powers, in people, and in their little fighter.

Surrounded by family and friends (and friends of family, and family of friends), Thomas, Megan, and Michael know that they are not alone on this journey and your continued love, support, thoughts, and prayers are the pillar of their strength. Thank you.

God Bless Michael.

I've been checking this blog every day, and I've gotta say, Michael really is a cute baby, he definitely got the Connolly good looks. I hope to see everyone soon, and I'll be thinking of all of you tomorrow.

Meg and Thomas - I've been absolutely glued to this blog since Wednesday (Caitlin, thank you for keeping us all informed and equally entertained). I can't stop thinking about you guys and what you're going through. Michael seems to be quite the fighter, truly living up to his namesake. I will keep you all in my prayers tomorrow and in the days ahead.
Love to all, Ethnea

Little Mick is perfect! I could have sat with him forever.. He waves, and holds our fingers and is so glad for the love and encouraging words of his parents. Thomas and Meg are ceaselessly by his side and are the absolute embodiment of strength and grace. We're in New York -- and appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers. Little Baby, we are all with you tonight. Love, Auntie Sarah
