Feeling Much, Much Better

Meg and Tom just got back from visiting with Michael. They said he looks so good and was resting up after a very long day. What a superstar.

Michael has some swelling and they did not stitch up his chest in case there are any additional concerns. The problem with his aorta was actually a twist in the tube, which they were able to correct during the surgery. Other than that, he looks great and is doing well.

They will watch him closely throughout the night, but for now we relish in Little Mick's amazing accomplishment.

Meg and Thomas met with the cardiology team and the doctors feel much, much better about Michael's condition. Their reaction is a drastic change from before and we're thrilled to hear that all of the doctor's are happy with Michael's huge turn.

I just got home from a long day and am so inspired by "Little Mick". I know it is the love and faith that you have had from day one Meg and Tommy that he has felt the love everyday for 9 months and wants to stick around to enjoy a lifetime of it. Will continue to pray and think of you every minute. Caitlin what will we do if you ever go home.
Love, hugs and kisses,

P.S. Caitlin, you are doing an AMAZING job of keeping all of us informed! How lucky Megan is to have such a devoted and loving sister; and how lucky Michael is to have such a special Aunt.
