He opened his eyes often for his parents and chose to blow bubbles of affection their way. Meg sang him lullabies. As they said goodnight, Michael reached out and grabbed his dad's finger. Needless to say, they stuck around for a little while longer.
Again, they were witness to the battle of the nurses, with two different ones wanting to care for him. As one of the most easy-going and adorable babies, we can see why Mick's the center of so much attention.
They are slowly and carefully lowering Michael's blood pressure medication and oxygen levels and he's doing great. They will attempt to wean him off of the respirator by Monday, so continue those good thoughts coming.
Tonight we had a makeshift Team Mick conference call. Here's a picture of Meg wearing the new "Team Mick" scrubs (check out the pocket) while having both of Michael's aunts on speakerphone. Lindsay, Meg's manager, had these scrubs made up for everyone in the family. We love them and can't wait for our group photo.
Lots of Love.
