Thomas and Megan were in early and had some time with Michael before surgery. They got to walk with Michael from the NICU to the Operating Room. They held the pacifier in his mouth and the little tiger chomped away.
Just before being wheeled into the O.R., Michael opened up his eyes for his mom and dad.
They have one of the top surgeons and most experienced medical teams in the country, so little Michael is in the best of hands.
Meg and Tom have been given their own room for us to all wait out in.

We have been reading about Michael everyday and our thought and prayers are with him. He is so fortunate to have so much love from family, both in person and around the world! Wish we could be there, but our thoughts will be with you and we will be waiting to hear more.

I arrived at school today and let everybody know Michael's status. We are all praying for him and his family. Only wish we could all be there for moral support.
